About the Role

The Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for the planning, execution, and success of our Computing (VM/Container/Serverless) products. This role will work closely with a peer Product Manager, supporting the VM/Container/Serverless portfolio, and our internal product line management team in identifying, prioritizing, contracting, and delivering new and evolving capabilities that may span across our Content Delivery Network and Web Application Firewall products, among others.

This role will work very closely with our head of product management and other executives within the company.

You’ll support all stages of a typical PDLC, including Go-To-Market support and sales enablement, you’ll be involved in contracting, SLA management, managing investments and the P&L associated with our product initiatives. You’ll share he the roadmapping responsibilities with your portfolio counterpart.

We are seeking candidates with a customer first approach, whom are versed in CDN, Cloud Computing, and security solutions.

Previous experience in technology sectors, with a focus on upper mid market and enterprise size customers is a must. Knowledge of the digital channel is also desired.

 

Responsibilities

Influencing, leading, and supporting cross-functional teams in the planning, development, and management of our services, including:

  • leading story and feature development in collaboration with Technology department and Operations department teams, including:
    • organizing and creating framework requirements
    • managing backlogs and prioritization
  • collecting and analyzing market, competitive, and internal data for market trends and insights and customer requests, in collaboration with Sales department and Marketing department teams
  • building financial models and strategies that factor for COGS and P&L goals in collaboration with Finance department and Operations department teams
  • determining product messaging in collaboration with Marketing department teams

 

Requirements

  1. A minimum of 4-7 years of previous experience as a product manager or product team leader within mid-sized or enterprise companies.
  2. Previous responsibility for a full PDLC with a demonstration of successful product launches and growth.
  3. Experience managing technically complex products
  4. Previous experience with contracting and contract negotiation
  5. Previous experience in SaaS products, experience with infrastructure products is a plus
  6. Deep understanding of product development workflows, in Agile Scrum and Kanban methodologies
  7. Experience with JIRA, Rally, or other product development tools
  8. Experience with user-centric design, IDEO or other design thinking methodologies.
  9. Experience implementing and leveraging user testing and design validation exercises/shops.
  10. Demonstrated ability to leverage analytics for day to day decision making.
  11. Demonstrated ability to groom a backlog, leveraging quantitative and qualitative insights.
  12. Demonstrated ability to develop and promote a business case for each solution
  13. Demonstrated ability to objectively collect and process feedback from customers and the market, though research, interviews, and other means.
  14. Ability to translate data from various sources into a suggested road map, taking into account sizing or estimation and ROI, understanding business and financial impacts along the way.
  15. Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to identify and solve problems without guidance
  16. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  17. Demonstrated ability to influence and lead without any direct reports or management, effectively executing in a cross functional role.
  18. High degree of comfort presenting to executives, C-suite, or highly technical audiences.

 

Skills highly desired

  1. CSPO and/or CSSM Certificate
  2. Training or Certifications in the Pragmatic Marketing framework
  3. MBA or equivalent experience
