About the Role

We’re looking for an innovative and experienced Premier Client Director to join our growing sales organization!  If you are motivated to deliver high-quality and innovative services, StackPath can offer you a great career opportunity.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide key senior level day-to-day contact with clients on overall program performance and strategy.
  • Proactively, qualify and close new clients within assigned verticals while providing ongoing support to any potential assigned existing accounts.
  • Generate accurate forecasts and sales activity reports as required.
  • Focus on customer retention and education on additional products to aid in the achievement of expected performance and revenue plans.
  • Work directly with the customer as the StackPath’s liaison to prevent or quickly resolve any outstanding issues.
  • Add value to the client relationship by leading all internal and external planning meetings for client programs, with an eye towards client growth.
  • Prospect aggressively to develop new business partners through networking, referrals, company lead generation and cold calling.
  • Travel to existing and prospective customers with the purpose of sustaining and growing market share, promoting and selling company services and execute in-depth selling in all accounts.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute sales presentations to inform, persuade, educate and ultimately close business.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 3 or more years of B2B technology sales experience, ideally in the Content Delivery Networking space.
  • Prior quota carrying sales in the fields of at least one of the following: SaaS, Content Delivery Network services (CDN), Streaming Media, Managed Web Hosting services, OVP or closely related technology.
  • Ability to successfully generate sales via research, outbound calling, email initiatives and attendance at relevant industry events when possible.
  • Experience generating accurate forecasts and sales activity reports utilizing a CRM tool. 
  • Superior presentation skills with the ability to clearly demonstrate StackPath's services via phone and web conferences.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce CRM tool.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or other related coursework is preferred.
