About the Role

Title – QA Engineer

The QA engineer will participate in various testing phases ranging from Integration to System and Beta, while executing different types of testing according to both PM requirements, and technical implementations.

This role will report to our: Tech Lead WAF QE

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review product requirements and technical design documents, providing timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Create comprehensive and well-structured test plans.
  • Finding issues and understanding levels of severity and probability.
  • Identify, record and track bugs.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to quickly isolate and report issues.
  • Work with the developers to achieve a better, more robust product.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Run various testing types (functional, GUI, performance, etc.) and DB validations. 
  • Web Application testing and API testing experience.
  • Scripting languages and / or automation experience.
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum development methodology.
  • Experience working with databases and SQL.
