About the Role

StackPath is hiring a Supply Chain Manager for our Infrastructure team. This team prides itself for solving the real-world problems in building and managing StackPath’s world class network.

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing physical hardware for its entire life cycle. This includes procurement, logistics, and end of life.

This role will report to: Vice President, Infrastructure

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Procurement
After the PO has been sent by the procurement team, the role will be responsible for managing the procurement process.

  • Vendor communications.
  • Communication of timelines with StackPath stakeholders.
  • Logistics.
  • RMAs.

Logistics
The logistics department will report to this role; therefore, this role will require a high level of time dedicated to logistics.

  • Carrier/Freight/IoR shipments, both domestic and international.
  • Carrier and IoR onboarding, pricing, and vendor risk assessments.
  • 3PL and warehousing management.
  • Large scale project deployments.

ITAD
StackPath equipment is high end, and typically retired mid-life with value that can be recovered.

  • Reverse logistics, both domestic and international.
  • ITAD vendor onboarding and price comparisons.
  • Working with security and compliance teams to make sure we meet our requirements for safe disposal.

Asset Management
Our asset management team is responsible for maintaining up to date records of StackPath’s physical assets.

  • IT Components. Maintaining accurate inventory of components, responding to requests for components, long-term sparing planning of components.
  • Fixed (rackable) assets. Organizing and documenting asset moves. This will include working with finance teams to meet their needs.
  • Asset Documentation and maintenance of inventory management tools.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Procurement – 3 Years
  • Logistics – 5 Years
    • International, customs, and IoR experience is a requirement.
  • DCIMs (Netbox pref.) and other inventory management systems
  • Experience with Data Centers
  • Atlassian Jira/Confluence – bonus
